Hi future Byron,

This is a famous moment. After almost seven years since I started writing ‘Letters to Byron‘ today I sit down to write the penultimate letter.

I started writing to you every week shortly after Charlotte Adler removed you from my home on Father’s Day of 2013, when you were just 4 years old.

The first ‘Letter to Byron‘ started a few weeks later. Writing to you was only made possible after I paid a family law member, Graham Coy, an astonishing amount of money just to find out the address of where you were.
Because Adler obstructed all and any visitation with you, the only way I could keep in contact with you was to keep sending you letters.

‘Letters to Byron’ records how events unfolded. From the first letter to Byron in July 2013, sent by post after I paid £4,000 to a lawyer to locate your address. Until the last one; which will be posted here next week.

It is like a season finale after a run of seven years.

I have been writing letters to Byron weekly now for 7 (SEVEN) years.
Some would take me four hours. Some two. Some just one hour. But I never missed a week. It has been many years since you have been allowed to contact me and I must accept Adler has successfully obstructed all correspondence from reaching you. And that affects my reason for writing every week.

After seven years it feels quite sad to be losing this one avenue for contact between us. I will explain fully my reasoning in next week’s season Finale. And set out my hopes for our future.
