All original set of songs performed solo on the acoustic guitar. Recorded in 1998 at Black Barn Studios. Inspirational guitar album.
Review:
An all original new album from Hugh, performed solo on the acoustic guitar. This is an album for the quiet times, it has an amazing power and calm. Use it as a tool to unwind and relax. This is truly inspirational music with a meditative bent, designed to lead you to higher ground!
Favourite Track:
Track 3 'Wedding Song' fills my mind with images from the film 'The Godfather' when the young Godfather (Al Pacino) marries his first wife in the beautiful hills of Sicily.

R n' B set of original songs by Britains foremost harp playing singer.
Review:
Honey Boy's latest album in the best traditions of R & B. All original songs delivered to you by Britain's most convincing blues harmonica player. A truly talented musician with one of the best 'work ethics' in the business Ð he plays for the sheer joy of it and that doesn't fail to come across, Guaranteed to get the feet moving and the toes tapping. Great stuff!
Favourite Track:
Track 5 'Eddie Had to Leave Chicago' blows my mind. Honey Boy sings this track through his harp mike and creates a quite unique, dirty feel that really gets you going!!

Mellifluous power rock trio. Featuring concussional vocalist Dean O'Deville, guitars by JoJo Flesh, and skin doctory by Spider.
Almost one hours worth of new original songs, recorded and performed to a high standard.

Review:
A hard ass power rock trio. This band needs to be heard! Featuring the infamous Dean O'Deville on vocals, sensual guitars by JoJo Flesh and Spider ensures the beat is solid as a rock. This album is a true find - all original songs and melodies to move, but the key to the FleshDevils are their lyrics - Dean sure has a way with words and the more you delve in, the more you can't get out. There's magic hereÉ
Favourite Track:
Track 6 'Just Like The Rain' is quite simply out of this world. BUY THIS ALBUM. LISTEN TO THIS SONG. What more can I say.

Twelve original songs by everybodys favourite Portuguese Zulu Louis Ribeiro, performed by the multi talented JIVE NATION.
Review:
The African beat goes on. This great example of the very best in world music comes from Portuguese Zulu Louis Ribeiro. Featuring all original songs (including the infamous track "Justice" which was banned from South African radio in the days of apartheid) this album forces you to feel the beat and arouses the dancer in us all. The melliflous blend of brass, percussion, strings and vocals is beautifully combined by Ribeiro who is a master of his music. The sun always shines on Jive Nation and it's a great place to be,
Favourite Track:
Well, it's got to be Justice (Track 3) hasn't itÉ..one for the history books.

The debut album by a singer and pianist of rare distinction. Accompanied by DAVE MATTACKS on drums, ROGER CAREY on bass, with DICK PEARCE on trumpet. Ten classic songs interpreted in Liane's unique style that takes all effort out of listening
Review:
This album is a real find. Liane has a one in a million voice, combining haunting qualities with a real sweetness. She is a true jazz singer and a mean piano player to boot. The range and diversity of her voice is quite astounding and this album displays her talent well. A regular guest at the legendary "Ronnie Scotts" jazz club in Soho, she is undoubtedly one of the finest female jazz voices in the UK today.
Favourite Track:
M'btanga Blues (track 5) just blows me away. A very unusual track in that there are no actual words yet she sings it incredibly! To understand what I’m saying you will just have to buy a copy - trust me, you'll enjoy it!

The debut album by WAR PIPES. Founded by and featuring DAVEY JOHNSTONE, whose work with Elton John is now the stuff of legend. Includes GUY BABYLON on keys,BOB BIRCH on bass, NIGEL OLSSON on drums and BILLY TRUDEL on voice. Twelve original songs in a Rock vein.
Includes "Rock and Roll Condition" and "Son of a loaded gun."
Review:
A true rock album (well naturally) from the guys who work with Elton John. Davie Johnson, on guitars and mandolin, has worked with Elton since the very beginning and forged himself a place in the history books for his chosen calling. He excels himself, as always, with some truly great guitar moments. Billy Trudel sings a blinder and the whole band really do rock!! They know what they’re doing and why shouldn't they, these guys must of played the biggest venues the world has to offer.
Favourite Track:
Had to choose a rock ballad, being a real sucker for them! Tear Jerker (track 7) is a classic: beautifully sung, great harmonies and of course, a storming guitar solo!!

Hugh Burns plays the nylon strung guitar over a variety of styles, from solo pieces, to full rhythm section. Featuring many of Londons top flight session players. Includes "Havana Nights." Candlelit Hacienda romance music at its most seductive.
Review:
Hugh Burns played the solo on 'Baker Street' which is only one of many such accomlishments as a session player. This album shows why is is so in demand.
Favourite Track:
Dedication. A poem without words.
