My beautiful Byron,

This Thursday in August 2020, which you will likely read about in 2021 or even 2022, finds me in today’s outdoor office, in the warm summer sunshine of Crystal Cove.

I am working away on my book, called the Three Rs. And can see the finish line in sight. I do at least 6 hours of writing every day, and will soon have a manuscript of some 120,000 words ready.

Meanwhile, life goes on around me, and I cant help but notice that the leaders of Britain’s and the US are causing an extraordinary amount of harm to both people dying from Covid as well as the national economies dented by the terrible decision making Trump and Johnson represent.

I guess, when you read this at some future point you will already know whether they have faced any accountability for what is happening at this time. ……………
