Letters to Byron. Press release
Press Release. 11 October, 2020
Letters to Byron began in 2013 when I started writing weekly letters to my four-year-old son, caught in the crossfire of adversarial British family-law during that most vulnerable time when parents separate.
These letters became one constant parental reminder in that ever-changing landscape of disappointment. Without fail, I had a weekly appointment when I sat down to spend time with Byron across the written page.
Letters to Byron was written live, weekly by public blog, where the WordPress counter showed over 1 million pages read during the four-year duration of this weekly writing, although it also showed that Byron had not visited the page. It was as if I had been made invisible to him. As he had been in the family court process.
The book contains the last 126 letters to Byron as written at the time.
