Here’s a picture taken by my ex wife in 1986 of Roy and myself, in Radnor Road, Weybridge.

We would often do duo gigs together in pubs and clubs in Surrey around that time and one day we decided to write a song. Which sat in my library of about a thousand other songs from that period of my life, stored away on DAT. Never played for 28 years until recently, when, after being reminded of this moment in songwriting on a Facebook post by Roy, I dug it out and found its a bit of a gem. A touch of Ozone remastering, a snip of digital editing here and there. And presto. The sound of 1988.
