Homeless and arrested.
December 01 2001
Well - wouldn't you just know it - the icy wind of November blew, and with it came fire. I just nipped out for my Friday night widdle - and when I got back half an hour later - the house was smoking. When I eventually sneaked in (after the firemen had left) I saw the terribly disturbing sight of my basket all burned. Worse still - my entire stock of food was burned to black gunge. More than a little dog should have to deal with I thought - so I put my tail between my legs. Those familiar with my 'Pig' style curly tail will find it hard to imagine - but its true. For the next two days I was a sad dog - with tail between legs.
Here's where my food was when I left the house that day. | And heres where my bed used to be
When I went to visit my friends in Somerset - they said the Hotel dwellers lifestyle of an Itinerant musical dog was not suitable for one of my pedigree. I agreed with them - and was quite happy when they managed to get my Dad to leave me for two weeks of recuperative therapy at Auton Dolwells. This is the house where CoCo lives.

This is the chapel room - where I spent many an hour meditating - and where I made steady progress toward restoring my tails former shape.
Here I am visiting my favorite walker - Diana - who explained to me that fire is a cleanser.
And this is Wendy - who fed me and took me to play with her Horses.

After a few weeks of Country living - it was back to the big smoke for me. I went to visit my old buddy Tito (He's 14 now you know) and his dad played with me for hours.
If you look closely at this picture - you'll spot an interesting face on his wall.

Tito's dad makes a great effort when it comes to playing with us
| |||||||||||||||||||||
He even dresses up like a penguin just to play this game of 'Sit step sleep'
As you can see - I won this particular round by a Country mile.'
The girls tried to join in - but they just don't have the depth of understand to play this game
And then the Icy winds of December blew - and with them came - ARREST. Yes its true - I was arrested shortly before this picture was taken. Ever since I was a pup - I have enjoyed the feeling of wind blowing through my hair - and so my dad leaves the car window partially open for me. This policeman thought I posed a risk (perhaps because my eye catching beard might distract a female driver) - and so blue lights flashed and I was severely told off. Luckily as its my first offense (that they know about) I was spared time in the Dog Pound. Notice my most 'contrite' look.
December wouldn't be the same without a visit to the Centre of the musical universe. Chiddingfold club - where Spike Edney puts on a 'rather special show'. Its strange cause they all play instruments (In tune) - and sing without pitch correctors - and they do it for over three hours - whilst remaining entertaining throughout. On Saturday they featured nine songs that have been number one's - sung by the original artist.

Here's Donna in the bar before the show
Damon making faces in preparation for his appearance with Leo and the SAS Band.
Jamie Moses- being a cowboy for the 'Low Chaparral' club.
The exquisite TOM ROBINSON shortly before his fabulous reading of 'War baby'
And here's a shot of the man behind the sound for the SAS BAND - Simon Hart.
As I was mobbed recently - steps were taken to ensure my safety. This is Martin - who took time off looking after Roger Taylor to look after me.
Not a spot of bother while Martins around.
Another of my favorite minders, Nancy - who taught me how to ride horses.
Wallace's favorite music, without which none of this would be possible, is available here This is relaxing meditation music - beautiful soundscapes incorporating notes, frequencies and tempos woven into a harmonious musical blend using only positive elements, to raise individual consciousness, align you with the spiritual laws and enable you to upgrade your life experience, helping you enhance and uphold a positive attitude and enjoyment of life. It works great on dogs too. Whenever this music comes on - I lie by the speaker for an uplifitng snooze. |
