My Beautiful Byron,

This Thursday finds me sitting in a coffee shop listening to the rain. It doesn’t rain much in California, but today it sure is. Buckets of rain. It sounds so relaxing, I have recorded the falling rain to use that sound on my next record.
It has a super soothing dramatic quality. Not like the English rain, which is more of a non stop drizzle that makes very little sound at all.
This is hard rain, big drops, that clatter off the roof and skylights, making a tremendously percussive sound that is at the same time, warmingly round…………….
