When the August 2006 bombing of Lebanon started, I was working with Hugh Burns. During a break we found a similar ethical position in respect of the frustrating role of the unwilling spectator to terrible injustice by our deficient leaders bombing children.
In the ensuing Months we spent many hours preparing the pieces that were to become ‘Angels and Unicorns’ as a audio background to help facilitate clear thought for the highest good. To create one hour of resonant frequencies that would uplift the listener to wellness.

This album was featured in the ‘Cygnus Review’ an influential New Age publication at the time and was immediately popular with the New Age sector, at time still buying CD’s. It sold particularly well in Finland, Germany and the UK.

This was my fourth album in the meditation music genre, and first of a trilogy with with Hugh Burns. It has steadily achieved recurring plays on streaming media around the world. And is no available on all streaming media. Or from Amazon.

I have listened to several Andrew Brel recordings – the ones with Hugh Burns hit the mark for me – but ‘Angels and Unicorns’ is outstanding. I listen to it consecutively before sleep. It is meditative, uplifting, relaxation-inducing and positively pain-relieving. I can’t recommend it too highly for people like me with chronic, unrelenting, drag-you-down depressing conditions, so imagine how lovely for everyone else! Marvellous for alternative therapists and worthy of play in all medical environments and waiting rooms, but why not restaurants for restful, pleasurable meals?
Buy it. You won’t be disappointed.
